HISTORIA MotoGP

• El campeonato GP es la Máxima categoría del Mundo de motociclismo desde el año 1949, en 2002 pasó a sustituir al GP500 (motos de dos tiempos hasta 500cc de cilindrada) al permitirse cuatro tiempos hasta 990cc. En 2007 vuelve a cambiarse la cilindrada, quedando reservada la categoría a motos de 800cc. El campeonato está organizado por la empresa española Dorna y la Federación Internacional de Motociclismo.
